The Valdez Fly In will be held May 7-9 this year, the weekend after the Airmen's Tradeshow in Anchorage. The tentative schedule has seminars on Friday afternoon, competitions Saturday morning, Poker run and beach landing Saturday afternoon, Flour bombing and airshow on Sunday. The tide is making the change to the Poker Run necessary so the competitions will start at 9am Saturday. To compete you will have to be registered by Friday night. We will not be able to get the heats set up with morning registration so plan to arrive Friday if you are going to compete. Also we are looking at adding just a spot landing competition so all planes have a chance at something. You can get more info at valdezflyin.com or we have a Facebook page too.
