Late notice, but I'm thinking about taking my son camping tonight at Mckenzie. Kind of a consolation prize for missing out on Utah... Anyway, we'll be arriving early evening tonight (Sat May 5th) and leaving Sun AM.

I almost snuck over with my son for a quick visit to meet you this evening but decided to dig some post holes for a deck instead. I know, poor choice. Hope you guys have a great time! Let me know when you go again.

We had an awesome time at McKenzie. The strip is in terrific shape -- as nice as I've seen it. We had a nice camp out and played down by the river. Perfect weather, too. Good times!

Scolopax stopped in this morning with a buddy. Good seeing you, as always!

Great seeing you "Oregon180"! I agree that the strip is in very good condition right now, as is the trail all the way up to Sahalie Falls.

Looks like you had a good time! I thought about texting you Sat. night to see if you wanted to meet on the Alvord desert as I was camped out on my way home but then saw you were already out and about.
