Mckenzie Bridge State Oregon (00S)

We had a nice flight to Mckenzie Bridge State last weekend. According to runwayfinder.com the strip is 45nm east of Eugene Or.
Ceilings were a bit low but manageable. Light turbulence in the canyon approach. This is a nice strip for early in the season because
it lets you do some "mountain" flying without hanging it out too far.
The runway is in OK shape. There are some bumps from elk and erosion. There seems to be some construction on the strip having to do with the
fire fighting activity that happens there. The tie downs and some of the runway side markers have been removed. None of this should effect your landing here.

If you go be sure to walk over to the river on the other side if the highway.

We camped here last year on our Northwest Circle trip. A great place that we had all to ourselves and look forward to getting back there some day.
