I'm thinking about going to Meadow Creek (0S1), and was wondering if anyone has any input on how a 172 w/180HP and a C/S prop would do in there. It does fine at Schafer.
A more specific question is, how rough is the last 800' of the south end of the runway? Could it be used for take-off?

Been there many times. You won't have a problem. You can use the runway up to where the grass is cut short, easy to see and plenty long. The south 800 is rough and the grass is long. If you can use Schafer OK you'll be fine.
