Meadow Creek is a great camping spot. Runway is in good condition. Excellent hiking trails. River is running -very- high.

I got an email from Vicki and couple days ago saying they were now headed north to Alaska. Great folks. I had seen them earlier this season at Smiley Creek and talked all about my desire to head up toward the Wrangell/St Elias area this August. I already knew of you from your excellent write-ups and website regarding AK. Thanks for putting all that together. Hope to meet you one of these days. BTW - my wife and I will be in Meadow Creek tomorrow. Cheers.

Was ferrying a Stinson 108-2 from Twin Falls, Idaho KTWF to Haines PAHN for the pat four days.

Headed back commercial Juneau to Boise tomorrow then fly my Cub home to Delta Thursday.

I had the pleasure of meeting Paul and Vicki at the Carcross airfield when they camped there a couple days ago.

Sounds like I just missed you Ted by a half hour or so. Feel free to stop in when you are headed back north. We are 9 miles north of Carcross.

I missed you when you came through Idaho Falls, I assumed for the Round Engine Roundup. I wish I would have gotten to check out your belly pod. I still need a pod for my Bearhawk.

I’ve been blessed to meet many wonderful folks flying around, and especially to/from Alaska.

I’m planning on heading N from Western Colorado on July 28 to Alaska. I’ll try to publish our planned route in the next few days.
