Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Maybe it is a little corny and maybe I am a day or two early but I wanted to wish everyone on this wonderful site a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

My oldest son graduated from Embry-Riddle this past week and he and I drove back from Daytona Beach together towing a U-Haul. He is moving back in with my wife and I while he looks for a job. I am grateful he successfully completed college.

My second and youngest son is in his second year at Embry-Riddle and I am grateful he is doing well.

I got my thumb back (all stiches and splints removed) and I am grateful that it still works!

My wife and I have been married 30 years and I am grateful for her companionship and love.

This is America and despite the present temporary difficulties I have every confidence that we will make things better again. I am grateful that I live here, have an airplane and the freedom to fly!

So to all you great guys and gals on this BackcountryPilot.org forum, and especially to Zane (who at one time thought this was a good idea  ) I am grateful to know you, even if it is just electronically!

Enjoy your upcoming Holidays and especially your family and friends! I am off to get another Christmas cookie and I am grateful!
