Minam Lodge & OPA fix-up project.

I may be overstepping my boundries here, but the new owner of the Minam Lodge Property, needs some help. This is about the last roadless fly in location in the state. There may be some on the Rouge River I don't know about. The new owner has agreed to keep the place open to the flying public. On April 14 and 15 pilots are going to meet in Joseph, Or airport for a briefing and have an airlift to get people and supplies into the lodge to do a fix up project. They are going to camp out over night on the 14th. Have a breakfast on the 15. I will try to get a contact person and an Email addy if anyone is interested. If you don't know about the Minam Lodge it is about 17 miles east of LaGrande, OR. on the Minam River right up next to the Eagle Cap Wilderness area. The gravel, grass strip is 2000 ft long and is at 3600 ft elevation. It is in the bottom of a canyon with the tops of the ridges about 7000 ft. You land up river and take off down river.
