Here are the details from the organizer:

Plans for the second annual Mn. fall colors tour are taking shape. This year we will make this a weekend long event. Dates for the event are the 24th & 25th of Sept. Anyone who wishes to arrive early on the 23rd is more than welcome. Plan is to depart my place on Sat. the 24th in the a.m. for Two Harbors(TWM) to meet up with the rest of the gang. From T.H. we will head up the senic north shore of Lake Superior to Grand Marais(CKC) for lunch. After lunch we will depart & head west toward Ely(ELO), then on to Tower(12D), then on to my place for a walleye fish fry in the evening, with stops at various private strips along the way. We will do a bon-fire, story tellin', refreshments, get together after dark.

Those who wish to stay can camp right at my place under wing. Also, there are accomadations in the community of Side Lake; motel, 2 resorts. If you prefer. We will provide transportation for those who need. Sunday will consist of breakfast, goodbeyes, then depatures for home.

GPS Coordinates for my place are N47* 39.350' W093* 00.293' Its not on the sectional, but is located just north of Hibbing(HIB) My strip runs east/west with a clear approach from the east. 20 ft trees from the west. Length is 1800 ft. Surface is grass. Those not comfortable landing at my place can land at Hibbing, we will make arrangments to get you picked up.
