There’s a fly in at Oak Island on Lake of the woods this Saturday. Still 30” of ice up there and the owner of Sunset Lodge who is an avid pilot told me it’s completely safe.

No skis needed as there’s little to no snow and they keep a runway plowed in any event.

Bar and restaurant will be open and they still have some rooms left.

I’m probably going.
