I’m hoping to be in Missoula late May or early June 2022 for about a week. I’m not familiar with local conditions and unsure if I need to rent a hangar. I’ll be leaving my plane for about a week so if hail or a wind event pops up I won’t be able to quickly check on my plane.

Those are the two FBOs. When I fly to MSO I stop at Northstar. They seem to be a little more GA friendly. But I’d call both and see what they say.

Western MT doesn’t get severe thunderstorms very often. But if we do that’s the time of year they’d show themselves. Hail isn’t common but you always want to avoid it.
