Montana Trip Part 4 [youtube]

Alright, for those that have been following along, here is Part 4 of this summers Montana & Idaho Trip, We had such a fun time and really only hit a few of the places on my list, can't wait to do it again next year. I think I mentioned in the last post, I have since adjusted the prop low pitch to achive full rated static power, and I feel compelled to mention that watching this footage....that being said, I am still very impressed with the high altitude, and mid-summer high density altitude performance from this engine and prop combo. Obviously I wasn't going into any of the super short and challenging strips that Idaho and Montana have to offer, but I am excited for future/ return trips.

Thanks for the support!

Awesome trip report.

Planes, friends, family, dogs, hikes, lakes, bikes, beer, music - what's not to like!!

I think that these kinds of trips are the best use of our planes, and the USA is simply an amazing place to do it. Personally can't get enough of it.

I liked the look of the eastern part on the way home, I need to venture further east.

And nice 170. I have serious panel envy.

Weird. I think that's probably a network issue on your end or Youtube doesn't like your IP address. Are you a notorious cybercriminal, Matt?

You know it. I've been uploading some very questionable things to the internet of late (even by internet standards). The cyber world is worse off for my contributions.

Oddly enough, it works on my desktop.

Thanks it was definitely that, Theres a lot more flying out there that I want to do, but I feel like this trip was just a good mix of all of it like you said just out enjoying a mix of everything and using the plane to do it!
