The runways at Moose Creek are in good condition. Almost all of the campsites are completely burned. It is a disaster area. The park service, government, saved the Ranger station but let all of the pilot's campsites burn. Most of the trees are dead. They could have saved the camping area but did not. The fire crews did the best they could with limited resources. What a loss. IMOP.

Just spent 3 days there. Lots of green coming back quick. Lots of cleanup of fallen trees. They haven't mowed the runways yet but it's business as usual there. Girlfriend and I had a great couple nights there. It's still a gem of the back country.
