Now let me expand on my thoughts of why..... We are a Family biz and when we do fly-in's the FAMILY goes.... We have been looking for a place to do a fly-in down south and after watching the video I was getting very excited about checking out the options and looking forward to a new adventure but that no kids under 12 thing excludes my family because I take my kids every where with me,(Sorry if my family values offends) I have no problem with Caveman's polices they are there for a reason and I respect that. Maybe some time when I don't have my kids I would be able to come by and enjoy what looks to be a great place.

Hey Hot Shot, saw you and the fam last at Austin last year. Your kids are no different than mine were. I enjoyed them. You have the bigest tent I have ever seen short of a circus. Looking foreward to seein you and the fam next.

The place and the people are cool. I haven't met any owners any more laid back or gracious than these folks. It is really as easy goin as Austin.I am not aware of ANY rules. They even have a shooting area.

I think I addressed the kids/pet issue in the thread planning the flyin. Kids and pets(sometimes the samething ) are fine. They ask that you keep an eye on them just so they don't get hurt or into trouble.

So, if you ain't soured, come on down, you'll be glad ya did. And let me know if ya want. I'd be happy to come over goof off w/ya.

Soured, nope I still would love to get down there and check it out but didn't want to step on toes or ask "special" permissions to have the kids come with if that was part of the set up there. I got the info from the web page

That sounds pretty good I know the boyz would love it for sure!!

I asked about the "no kids" issue mentioned on their site before the flyin and Gary addressed it. Basically, no problem...just make sure your kids aren't a problem.

We spent two nights there at the fly-in with my nearly 3 year old and 6 month old. Rod, Paula, Hunter, and Johnny couldn't have been more accomodating. They offered to let my little boy go up to their house to watch his Curious George dvd so many times I was afraid that they were going to get offended when I didn't take them up on it. They couldn't have been more gracious hosts and having our little ones there wasn't an issue. First class people in a great place which we plan on visiting again...kids and all.
