Moving to Page, AZ

So, after some very unsatisfying contract talks, we are on the move again (for the last time i hope).

I was really leaning toward heading back to Alaska, but my wife had a hard NO on that. After much discussion, we comprimised on Page, AZ as the place for us to hopfully stop moving and spend our quickly approaching retirement years. We discovered Page several years ago when we lived in Escalante, UT, it was a 15 minute flight but a 2.5 hour drive. We always felt Page was a beautiful place with a small town feel.

I was looking to find out if there are any BCPers in the area. My initial inquires have not found any hanger space.

I haven't been through Page for almost 40 yrs when I was driving a livestock truck from Phoenix up to Montana but always thought it was like an oasis. Unless crime is a problem, it would be my pick in AZ. I know lots of people who winter in Mesa and live like sardines.

A lot nicer WX there for flying than that last place we talked about. Hahaha. Wishing you success in your new location!
