"Murdered Out" with AB

Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

"Murdered Out" with AB

Im sure most of you have seen these, but if not... this is a cool new option for for upgrading your 100 series brakes to double puck so you can finally get some decent braking action.

Alaskan Bushwheel now has direct replacement for the double puck Cleveland 199-62... and they are "murdered out" (all black.) Airframes AK sells them cheaper than the Cleveland 199-62s and will sell you the STC. You can use the FA Dodge (STCSA02231AK.) I also re-installed 8.50x6's on the C170 using the FAA letter. http://www.fadodge.com/images/pdf_files ... rcraft.pdf and a baby bush at the tail to replace the Scott 3200. IMO, this is the perfect set-up for the 170. Tires are not too crazy, but will afford you access to just about anywhere you would want to take the bird. Put the Sportsman on last fall... just needs an 8042 and some VG's to round it all off.

I heard rumor that Zane and Akgreg coined the phrase "murdered out" many years back. Visionaries if you ask me...

Re: "Murdered Out" with AB

That is a great upgrade!! Be careful with the brake line routing that flex you have above the brake is begging for a air bubble. If you use a 45 degree fitting out of the top of the brake it should flow better.

I could have sworn that we trademarked that phrase and haven't seen one damn royalty check.
Wait a sec...we used Zane's address for where to send those checks.

We were all set to buy Grove wheels and brakes for the Bearhawk but when my dad saw those black wheels and brakes he just had to have them.
