Murphy Super Rebel SR2500

I am new to this site and it is awesome. Is anyone on here familiar with the Murphy Super Rebel. There is one for sale near me and I'd like to know more about them. Not the 2 place Rebel, I mean the 200-300 hp 3000# gw machine. Seems like it would rival a C180/185 but new... and bigger doors. and stick. and new
Why its is not on the backcountry aircraft list and if not, why not? 1400-1500# useful with lots of space seems pretty nice. Beaver heritage and good performance numbers on paper. It's hard to find any real world data for the Super Rebel as so many builders modded them up to the beefed up fire breathing, fuel sucking radial Moose.

Does anyone here speak Murphy??

Welcome here, you're right, it is a great site.
We have found the factory support to be very lacking from Murphy. If they could step that up, I think they'd be a great option.
