Humor may not make the world go around, but it certainly cheers up the process... :)
With clothing, the opposite of NOMEX is polypro (polypropylene cloth and fleece).

Wow! Great aerial ballet M6RV6! And AWESOME! airplane/P-51!
I liked it so well I posted it on FaceBook.
The surprise was towards the end when it showed the pilot-an old fat fella like me!

Well, not really like me. He has that COOL Mustang-and skills I can only dream about... #-o

I think the lady brought bad karma to the landing! "No Big Deal, LOL" Wow! Somebody with too much money :D :D . But hey, gave somebody some work to do

Edit: I edited the above post because I forgot to use the Smiley Face  My comment wasn't meant to offend anyone!!! Just a friendly figure of speech! Sheesh.

Not exactly. The comments this video has fostered since it was posted years ago have really bugged me. A really unfortunate landing incident happens to get caught on video with a really annoying women who adds insult to injury.

We've all made bad landings, this one just happened to be in a Mustang and caught on video. He operated that airplane out of Lodi for many years, without incident.

Was the Women who was laughing away his wife, I sure got that impression from her manor??

And all it takes is one little screw up in a plane that weighs as much at the 51 does with no wing loading and all is going south quickly as it shows.

I was around a bunch of fellows @ Birchwood once who were watching a young man with his first 185, just got out of his tcraft and bought a new to him bird, strapped it on and was trying to get it back on the ground after his first takeoff!
This was a few years ago, on about his 4th try it was making some terrible tire noise from it going down the runway sideways trying to turn all the way around, well he shoves everything to the wall, fly's it off the runway, between 2 hangars kinds on a knife edge as they were to close together to fit through level, Made it over the trees on the other side of the hangar and then went up and flew around some before making another attempt.(he knew where it stalled at the next time) Everyone was talking about how he was screwing it up except one OLBOY who looked at everyone and said, think any of you could have recovered from that ground loop and made it between those hangers without losing any parts??

I know what the definition of "rich" is . . . 25% more than you happen to have . . . but what is the definition of "too much money"? Just asking 'cause I guess it wouldn't be good to accidentally cross that line by either working hard, saving, or both, and then have people all po'd at you,

Edited to add :) , Oh, and one more down-to-earth definition of rich told me by a friend who is worth, I'm sure, hundreds of millions . . . "When your needs are met and you have money left over."

Re: Mustang landing....

Back to Eddie. He made all his "too much money" by getting up early and transporting fruits and vegetables to market in San Francisco. He started with nothing and loves flying as much as anyone here. On top of that, he's the most humble and decent sort of airshow performer I have ever met. A real cool cat. I'm glad he's got the Mustang now.
