It sure is fun making movies around here. This will be in the new Warren Miller film this fall. I thought this was a cool shot of our camera man hanging out of the heli...Yes he is tied in as well with a harness...

Re: My airplane and Warren Miller filming

What color/scheme are you painting your plane? Whatever it is, I'm most likely going to be even more jealous-er than I was before! Looks like a pretty thorough job.

Can't wait to see the new Warren Miller film, either. I've hung out of helicopters shooting video like that, but it wasn't of anything as cool as the skiing you guys do.

Is that redcap/bondo stuff on your plane? Is that pretty standard for smoothing out the skin for painting?

I don't care that you are painting it pink. Just let me know when you want me to go pick it up for you.

I don't care about your paint job or how you get rid of the dings.... but DAMN THAT'S SOME STEEP STUFF THERE  =D> Makes me pucker up just looking at it. That steepness supersedes a mere paint job. I will be sure to check out Miller's effort next fall, when they usually show it at the local university to get people pumped for the upcoming season.
