No doubt you scored some major points when you chided her for using that expensive ink. Show's her you're still fiscally responsible.

I was thinking of "He who sleeps on couch." Watch out for the dog hair.

But hell man we've all been there. $500 oil coolers. $9000 reskinning jobs. The humanity [-o<

Matt

It looks like these wheels are going to cost twice as much because of the GET EVEN FACTOR.

Actually you remind me of my brother and his wife and computers.

The best part is the dog looking on while you tell your wiffe about the wheels. It's like he's watching a tennis match... =D>

I have some fortune telling experience from my stint as a carnie and I see a cruise in your near future...yes, yes at least a 7 day cruise to all of KTs favorite destinations with pink umbrellas, fruity drinks, daily massages provided (by you), silly flower shirts, long days of shore leave to include shopping, manicures, and you holding all her bags!! OH and most importantly not a single airplane within 100 miles!!!! #-o

Re: My biggest complaint about buying bushwheels...

I can see this conversation coming:

Matt: "Honey is this right? There is a $45k balance on the Visa Card."
Wife?: "Yes, did I forget to tell you? Have a look in the drive way at my new car! I'm so excited about it!!! Do you want to drive it?" Just think of all the places we can go in it just like we can in the BW equipped airplane. I just love it, don't you?" :D

I'm serious on this one; experience is a harsh teacher. Ouch! What a sweetheart and wouldn't trade her for the world, but they always, always, get more than even, eventually! #-o

Rookies!!!!!!!

Get a couple aviation related divorces under your belt, and live out of your airplane in some garden spot... Say like Barrow Alaska, because you are suddenly homeless, and buying Bushwheels without "permission" will be a walk in the park.

Dude.... I'll end up making arrangements with the kitplane factory to issue me a fake invoice for about 1/4 the price.

Classic Matt. I'm still hoping my wife doesn't notice that my tires got really big.

Ha! That is awesome. I wasn't hiding mine, but I did store them in the guest bedroom for about a week until the smell of rubber started seeping into the rest of the house. My wife sternly requested that I remove them, but the smell was still there when our guests arrived a week later. Them bushwheels are some made of some powerful voodoo.
