Any new or Old Computer can be attacked by a Virus >>>>> If I had the extra money I'd go with a APPLE computer product line. My Buddy has both Mac book and Ipad 2 and has never been shot down by any Virus . Another friend of mine works as the head "Geek" for Disney Corp. (where they do the movies) in Los Angeles and they get "bombarded " by infected emails> and programs daily . They have extremely system to keep out bad guys. KEEP AWAY FROM 'FREE OFFERS" and Games sites as that is where 99% of the bad stuff comes from.
