My first, albeit meager, backcountry contribution.

Well, "backcountry" may be streaching it. And I'm not really flying the plane. Actually, the C130 never moved.

But there isn't any asphalt or concrete in sight. And I DID get to crawl around on it for 3 days. AND we did have the APU running most of the time (had to get power to the rear cargo door).

Chandler, AZ. A good time was had by all. 114F in the shade. I can't even tell you how hot it was in the plane with all the film lights we had running. We had crew dropping like flies from heat exhaustion. But I do have these pictures and some memories (or maybe just bad dreams) to last a lifetime.
