Sweet plane Mongo!
Are those bushwheels different? They look more like donuts/different sidewall?
When ya get the Bushwheels, maybe ya ought to think about keeping the 26's for those times you are going to be on a lot of pavement or asphalt.mountainmatt wrote:Sweet plane Mongo!

Rob wrote:Looks great! what's it weigh? Have you got enough time in a non Riblett 180/hp cub to offer a comparison? Did you check out the AOI before you bought it? I would be curious to know if that affects the Riblett as much as the stock wing.
Take care, Rob

She does rip but she needs a driver like you to maximize it, I hope to get 749ered this fall, fingers crossed.
I stay away from payment as much as possible, that stuff is dangerous......

... I've had a lot of fun at paved strips NOT landing on the pavement/asphalt. I got talked to once, by the airport manager, (Sandpoint, Id.) and told him I didn't know landing on the grass between the taxiway and runway was "forbidden", and wouldn't do it again (and didn't). No problems the rest of the times. Only at the towered airports do they, at least around here, have a problem, so I just don't go there. My tires (26" Airstreaks) still look like new! I'd rather save the tires and every now and then get talked to.
