My poor attempt at putting a few webcams and images together

I have started a little wepage based on another site that I thought was kinda cool and the idea is, if you have a place to upload pictures or know of webcams etc. that are dynamic (changing constantly) and they somewhat pertain to aviation (you'll see why when I get to the link) I can add them to this simple image catalog for your aviation viewing pleasure. The images should be 320x240 in size and stored where you can change them easily and as often as your heart desires. All I need is an email telling me where they are and I'll add 'em to the page. When you change the image, the webpage will show the new image. Kinda' simple but fun if people change images often enough. I have taken the liberty of linking one of Zanes pictures. Enjoy!

Anyway, the temporary link is http://n6ea.com/pilotcams, eventually www.pilotcams.org will be the permanent home and will have a number of cool features thanks to our fearless leader at BCP...

If you want a spot, send me a link where the image is stored [email protected] .

Disclaimer: I am not responsible if somebody uploads a picture of their X naked or whatever, although when I see it you'll lose your spot on the page (after I save it of course assuming it is worthy of further review)...;-)

I really cannot believe you posted that photo of me and the 152. Haha. The photos with the dorky glasses weren't good enough??!! :)

Dude, this is a fantastic idea. If you need any assistance, let me know. I have some thoughts. Kudos for stepping up to the plate.

I like the 152 shot but I thought the flowers in the foreground of ol' yellow might be better... Let me know if you'd like something else...

Cool idea! I'll have to see if I still have the photo of the Motor Home parked in the middle of Summit Airport's runway, or the one with a Spider in the middle of the lens at McKinley. 8)

Ok,

I guess I need to explain this a bit further.

The http://www.n6ea.com/pilotcams webpage is strictly a collection of images and photos, that pilots may be interested in viewing, at one place, without hunting the individual images down from other websites.

In addition, you can email me an image location (ie http://whateversite.***/yourimage.jpg,,, for example) along with your user name at backcountrypilot.org and I'll link that image on the pilotcams.org site. The cool thing is, you can change the image (leaving the name the same so the link will still work) anytime you like and your new image will be shared with the rest of your aviator buddies. Some people may change their images daily, weekly, whatever. As long as the linked name remains the same, it'll show up at pilotcams.org.

The limit to spots available should probably be kept to about 30 or so so it doesn't take forever to load.

It will be whatever you all want to make of it. Send me image links and I'll ad 'em.

While Zane is helping me make pilotcams better, the original site is still available at http://www.n6ea.com/pilotcams .

Offer still stands to anyone that would like a spot.

Coming soon will be an improved version.

Well thanks to our fearless leader, http://www.pilotcams.org is really turning out pretty cool.

Check it out and pass along any additional links you'd like to see.

It's a grand idea, Mark. I've done my part now...time to get populating on those webcams. :D

I like how all the cams have the identifiers in the name...makes it really easy to search my name or ID.

That site is really cool!

Had to do a web search to figure out where the Faroe Islands were, though...Looks cold and nasty, but I guess you get that when Iceland is your neighbor...
