Does anyone know of a qualified Helio Courier H-800 instructor in the Phoenix area, or anywhere? The insurance company is requiring a checkout.

Go to Flyhelio.com and They'll be able to find you a CFI I know of one in CO that has a older helio 395 I think.

I met a guy named Dave Kinney, who was supposedly very experienced in the Helio from the South East Asia days. I cannot verify that but that's what he said. He was an interesting guy. I lost track of him, but he's still somewhere around in Texas somewhere last I heard. Do a Google Search and see if you can find him... if none of the other obvious choices pan out.

I've flown with Dave Kinney also in my Maule, He is a great guy to work with and has the experience you are looking for. I also lost track of him when he moved to Texas back in the late 90's.
