Need copy of 337 for 26" goodyears on a Cessna 182
Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?
Sure could use a copy of a 337 to put 26" Goodyears on my Cessna 182 with Airglass fork. Even though there are 5 at Lake Hood they don't want to approve mine without a copy of some paperwork. Thanks

Get the "N" numbers -check on line for S/N and owners name. Go to FAA.Gov website and look for there
CD about 10 bucks - get it . Make copies of there 337's for what you want . Get a I.A. and put them on using captured 337 .

There's another little pearl of wisdom I can thank this site for.

Yea that was my next move just thought I might catch someone who had one handy I was trying to get it done this week. Got told Tuesday the FAA had pretty much said to piss off. I have 3 of the N#'s and gave those with pictures but no luck. Thanks

Always takes 2 or 3 weeks to get the CD that's why I had hoped to find someone with a copy

You might try Gregg Horrell at Juneau FSDO 790-7307. When he did our AW inspection on our Rans, he told me that Juneau is doing basically all the FA's in Alaska. That was May of last year. Anyway, he is a real decent fellow in my experience. Doesn't seem to be afraid of his job. Folks who have tried to bullshit him have had issues, but played straight - up there's no problem.

If & when I ever go bigger than 850's on my C180, I'll probably go with the 26" GY's. They're on the stiff side for smaller airplanes, but for something the size & weight of a 180, they seem to be a pretty good compromise between size, weight, and cost. Apparently no one's ever gotten an STC to put them on a 180. Surprising, since until ABW's came along they were the go-to tire for off-airport ops for anything bigger than a Cub.
