Need help with geometry

If when on final I want a 4% approach angle at 60 mph, what will my decent rate be in feet per minute.

4 degree not 4%

ft/min = 60 mi/hr * 5280 ft/mi / 60 min/hr * tan(4) = 369 ft/min

jep's table

Hi All,
You can find decent tables in the front of Jep's plates, simple to use in the plane and easy to carry. If you have a GPS use it for your GS on the chart. If you can't find the chart PM me and i'll e-mail you one .Tom

On Sprky's site http://www.mountainflying.com/ It says that for a 4.5 deg approach you multiply speed in knots by 8 and that is your decent rate. I need 4 degrees to safely clear the trees and wires at the approach end of my dreamed about strip.
