Need some illustration help

Some friends and I are working on some new STOL events for the 2nd Annual 2015 Texas STOL Roundup.
http://www.texasstolroundup.org

To make these new events possible will require some outside help which we are pursuing. We believe it would improve our chances of success if we include a short description of traditional STOL competition events. We all know what STOL is but to the uninitiated it probably just looks like airplanes taking off and landing. Not very exciting to anyone except pilots.

I can write up the descriptions but the belief is some illustrations would help as well. Now I can't draw a straight line with a ruler so I need help. Is anyone here good at illustrations?

Thanks. Oh, and please start spreading the word about next years event.

I like the illustrations from your avatar and the t shirts that you already have. Who did those? Can you just use them again?

I put the work out to bid. Some guy from Greece I think did the work. Probably a good idea to put this project out for bid a well.

Thanks

I know a person who is a pro pilot, technical graphics person and accomplished aviation fine artist. He won a par excellence fine art award from EAA some years ago. I have no idea if he has time or inclination for this but would make a referral if you wish, or you could contact him. An example of his work is my avatar.
