I just got word that breakfast will be at Morning Shadows Ranch on Saturday morning. Bacon eggs, etc. It's being hosted by some of the local SLV pilots. Lionel is looking forward to seeing people stop by and celebrate his 89th.

Tom (flynbeekeeper) and myself will be taking a count of all those interested in Breakfast on Friday night back at La Garita Creek Ranch.

However, you are correct that the Gila has been deluged with rain and we have had to reschedule the flyin for 10/4 thru 10/6.

Z, I was a good boy and used the event calendar, but now can't figure out how to show the rescheduled event. Is there a way to do that or eliminate it and repost for the new date??

I updated it for you, but for future reference, the way to do that is by going to the event page, clicking on the "options" link to the bottom right of the big cover image, and choosing "Edit." You change the dates, and click Save.

Flynbeekeeper: Sorry to not make it to La Garita. Hope to see lots of photos. I will do the same after Negrito.

Really enjoyed the 1st La Garita fly in last June and was looking forward to this one and /or Negrito. Unfortunately I wouldn't have been able to do either as something came up at the last minute and I have to be in Alb Saturday. Should be able to do Negrito in Oct though.
