Hello Everyone:
The original date for this was 9/20 thru 9/22 but has been rescheduled due to weather to 10/4/13 thru 10/6/13.
As you can see, I haven't quite figured out how to get the right sized photos in my posts, but if you could see them better, the above are photos from past Negrito flyins.
The New Mexico Pilot's Association (NMPA) and the Arizona Pilot's Association (APA) would like to invite everyone to Negrito, NM (0NM7), which is in SW New Mexico in the Gila National Forest. We will be arriving the afternoon of Friday, 9/20 through Sunday morning, 9/22.
Negrito is really a beautiful spot. It is at 8,100 feet elevation about 18 miles SE of Reserve New Mexico. You can find it on the ABQ sectional or using the Airport Search function on the NMPA website ( http://www.nmpilots.org ). More information will be posted at the New Mexico Pilot's Association Website after tomorrow.
For those of you that don't like bringing or cooking your own food, we have a solution for you. We will be providing dinners for Friday and Saturday night and breakfasts for Saturday and Sunday mornings. Cost for the food is $35 per person for NMPA or APA members and $45 for nonmembers. We will also have a his and hers portable toilets on site. Will also haul up lots of water, so you don't have to worry about bringing your own.
Families and kids are welcome. We have little ones each year and that is sure something we like to encourage. If you have several small ones, would be glad to cut the per person price for the grub. Send me a PM and let me know the details.
It is a good time. There are a lot of great places to fly to from Negrito, including Double Circle, Me Own, Beaverhead, Jewitt Mesa, Glenwood and Apache Springs to name a few.
Hope to see all of you there. For more info, see the NMPA website or send me an email and I would be glad to get you info.
Regards, Larry.
