I know many of you have been frothing at the mouth to get ahold of some of our rare and interesting land here in the great state of Nevada. Well here's your chance. Many wonderful homes and homesites have become available via auction in Mineral County including the metropolis' of Mina, Hawthorn, Luning, and others. Take a look and bid according to your pleasure. I've seen whiskey more expensive than some of these lots in Mina.

I'd bid on that aviation fuel tank system...if it didn't cost so damn much to get it to me!

I saw that. I don't know a thing about the regulations for setting one up with auto fuel at the local. The minimum bid was cheap though.

Great pics Gump. The only lot in Mina I would be interested in would be one of the stone houses. There's a 20 acre plot on the Walker in Shurz that looks interesting too but I'm not sure there's any sort of access. We just sold our property in Washington though.....heh heh heh.....but I think I'm looking at 5 acres with irrigation rights in Fallon. On Scheckler Cut Off road. It's a nice central location without all the damn people and congestion. Build one more house before heading West.

Well, Mr Scout, who used to haunt these pages, and a buddy of his, just bought 16 lots in Mina today at the auction.
Have no clue what they paid, or what the heck they're gonna do with them, but by golly they own 'em!

I am guessing these auctions are over? I have been traveling for the past two weeks and rarely was able to get on-line and just saw this thread. I've been looking for some land out west. Tried the link and all I saw was miscellaneous stuff.

Ha! In Afton the other day eating breakfast, I was perusing a real estate magazine for the nearby Alpine area. I came across a great deal on a 2 acre lot at the Alpine strip. With a 4500 sq ft home and a 70' by 70' hangar. ONLY $4,650,000

cg, we can go in my version of 'halfsies'....you do the $4,000,000 half and I'll do the 650,000 half!

How did you find that remote stuff? All I saw was Hawthorn houses
a lot of them with old ASBESTOS looking siding.

That asbestos won't hurt you if you leave it alone-- kinda like a rattlesnake.
If you ever have to tear it off, however, be prepared for a big hazmat abatement dog-and-pony show.
