Well damn, they lost a Beaver down in Juneau the other day, loss of power on takeoff resulting in a forced landing in the river. On floats and seems the pilot did good getting it down dead stick but the heavy current pushed it into driftwood causing severe damage.

It looks like the engine stayed dry, prop OK, the rest, I don't know.

Hope they get it fixed up again.
