New gust lock product from Air Products Alaska

Looks interesting. Does anyone here use something similar? The old "lock the control column" technique isn't so great from high winds and it can bend stuff when even pressure is applied to control surfaces.
I had a homemade "bra" for my 170 rudder that saddled the directional light and held the rudder centered, with elastic straps that hooked to the elevator spar lightening holes. Not sure how it would fare in higher winds but it worked great in breezy summers days around here.

Around here, I've seen a few using a piece of stiff cardboard folded over the ailerons tied with a thin piece of rope. Seemed to work well.
