New Plane and Quality Instruction

Two exciting bits of news.

I closed on a 1979 185 on Friday, its sweet, except for its still being re-built by Beegles in Greeley, Colorado. It will be ready in two weeks. Its got all that I wanted none that I didn't. :D

Also, I am 13 hours into 185 instruction with David Younkin in Fort Collins, CO. He has 14,000 hours in 185's with the DOW in Colorado, he's 72 and as sharp a pilot as I've ever seen. Anyway, he's definitely the best instructor I've ever worked with. I can at least fly a 185 without bending it and I can now wheel land my rebel, which I was sure I'd never do. I'll be spending more time with him when my plane is ready, flight testing and getting more dialed in.

Dave is retired and has plenty of time so pass his name on to anyone who might be interested. I have his number.

Finally I have a Murphy Rebel for sale. Its a solid two seater with a O-320 in it. Its an honest plane and is in great shape, pm me if you or someone you know is interested. I may have to change my screen name to something not type specific.
