Humor may not make the world go around, but it certainly cheers up the process... :)
With clothing, the opposite of NOMEX is polypro (polypropylene cloth and fleece).

If I remember correctly from reading the bid proposal, there were hundreds of thousands of dollars that needed to be spent to mitigate the fuel areas, as well as drilling new wells because the current water supply is contaminated. This would be in addition to the "bid" price.

Jim, that is right. The new guy has to pay for contamination that the government spilled, mostly during WW2. What happened to the "super fund" that was created for just such situations?

Hence the "challange" and the lack of bids.

Can you imagine the sinking feeling when the State shows up at your exciting new endeavor and shows you the fine print. :shock: #-o
I'm thinking it might take the shine off the excellent deal you thought you got. It's a shame, but typical.
