Norcal EAA Regional GoldenWest in Marysville June 9-10

This weekend is the big EAA show for this area. Most of the big vendors will be there such as Dynon, Lycoming, Aircraft Spruce, ect. I am planning on an early Saturday morning arrival. Our very own Taildrgfun (Steve the Highlander guy) will be there to represent Highlander. I know Zenith will also be there with a booth. PM me if you plan on attending and want to try and meet up. This is a good show to see the latest and greatest gizmos and gadgets.

It will be Towered for the weekend and has specific arrival procedures so please review before coming in

I tried to get to the fly-in on Saturday and had about a 50mph headwind. I was indicating 85mph with a ground speed of 28mph. It was gusting over 30kts at Marysville all day.

At 28MPH it should have only taken a few hours :)
Didn't that event get blown out last year?

I went on Friday and it was really nice weather, light winds out of the NW. Talked with Taildrgfun (Steve) at length about the Highlander and took just under a million pics of his plane. I'm putting together a highlander myself and his was the first one I've seen. It really helps to see a finished example...

Turnout was not that great, I was hoping for the sake of the event, that more would show up on sat and sun, but sounds like it wasn't a fun weekend to fly in.
