North fox island

If anybody is close to lake michigan and want a place to fly to and camp i would highly north fox. Been there a bunch of times and cant wait to go back. Rustic camping. You will likely be the only on the island. Fantastic destination

Love that place, such a nice flight from the west, up the Door peninsula of Wisconsin and across the lake. Been there many times as well, I'm working diligently to get the engine conversion finished on my C175 so I can hopefully make it back out there this year.

I was there two years ago in June. It is neat place but the mosquitoes were very bad. There was a portable toilet there.

It's the upper midwest. Bugs will be highly dependent on the weather the previous two weeks. I've been there with no bugs. I've been there with modest bugs. I find it easy to believe the report above that said tons of bugs. Plan for tons and be happy with anything better than that.

There is pit toilet. Bring toilet paper.

This is a trip we made a couple years ago...
