Re: Northwest Favorites

GrasstripPilot, if you decide to go to Crater Lake (It's beautiful!) you might be able to use my car.

I'm based at Ashland (S03), which is about 1 1/2 hours by car from the rim of Crater Lake. We spend lots of time up there all seasons, hiking, camping and skiing. I fly over it all the time.

We're planning a family flying/camping trip of our own starting at the end of this week, so if the timing works I could leave my car for you guys at the airport. PM me if you're interested and we'll work out the details. It's not a new car (I own a plane  ) but it'll get you there and back.

Re: Northwest Favorites

Hey guys,
Not to crash the party, but my family and I are off next week (the week before JC) and planning on camping with the airplane. If anybody wants to meet up, let me know. We have not come up with much of a plan other than to see what the weather does and try to be to JC for the weekend of the BCP fly-in.

Hey Oregon180,

Sorry it took me a few days to get back to you. I finished work, got home, and have been running ever since. I wanted to thank you for the offer of your car. Unfortunately, I think logistics is going to have to leave Crater Lake for another time when we have more days to play in that area. It was very generous of you to offer and it is appreciated.

Hey Rob, sorry I didn't get you called yesterday. Between the ultrasound, dealing with aircraft mx, and a plane wash, it got busy. I'll give you a ring later today.

I didn't make it over to Tieton, sorry. I had to leave the plane on the ground this week so they could prep it for JC.

Re: Northwest Favorites

No worries, grasstrippilot! The offer stands whenever you can make the trip.

Hope to meet you at Johnson Creek. We're another family of four in a yellow and white 180.
