haha, no. My only "expendable" RC model is a tri gear plane. Maybe I will convert it... Of course the only danger is that you frag the plastic prop.
You can get some decent RC packages for less than $400, that includes radio, servos, the plane, engine.

So if you put a quarter scale over on it's back, does it only hurt 1/4 as much as when it happens in a 'real' airplane?
