Nulites

Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

Interesting story, Jr... Panel lights are nice. The ones in the C152 I used in my primary training were so weak, it was very annoying. Even for dusk flights, it was sometimes hard to see the guages without fixating on them for a few seconds while my eyes adjusted.

You'd think somebody would come up with a good Nulite type solution that uses LED's, they are so bright and use so little current.

I BS'd some with the owner of a local Pacer today, and was eyeballing his plane when I noticed that he had a red nav light mounted on the ceiling of the cabin for a panel light--I thought that was pretty slick! Paint job was a bit rough looking, but otherwise it was a pretty cool airplane: skylight,pilot-side door added, observer doors, rear-seat door eliminated (set up as two seater), VG's,droopy tips,800's, big (77"?) flat prop, plus he's in the process of getting his paperwork approved to convert from yokes to sticks. Quite a little bushplane.
Anybody here flying a Pacer? How's it set up?
