Darn, I'm out of town in Palm Springs not due home 'til Wednesday night otherwise I'd meet you at Shelter Cove. It is a beautiful spot!

Couldn't fly the Maule down here due to horrible weather in Redding on Sunday. Had to fly the Southwest Cattle Car. arrrgghhh....

Ahhhh..Pismo. Have almost injured myself many times on 3-wheelers there. Did my first "short field" landings at Oceano getting my ticket out of KSBP.

For those of you that have not spent much time in this area (central coast, San Luis Obispo, etc), its a great destination. Ocean, pretty countryside, weather, wine, nice town (SLO).

I flew into Half-Moon Bay 2 years ago with my brother and his friends. Gorgeous flight from Nut-Tree. We landed, walked a short distance, passed through a gate, to some killer seafood restraunts on the ocean. I thought I was the luckiest man alive.

Enjoy it Rob, difficult as that may be.

Hah. I got my ticket out of IZA, and did one of my solo XC's to SBP and PRB. My first post-checkride pax hop was to Oceano. Fun area.
