OK, How Cool is This?

TWO Merlins and a set of Bushwheels:

Watch the rudder work on takeoff and landing. A real taildragger pilot! =D>
I saw this one being built in a hangar a few years ago in New Zealand. Great to see it come to life from a pile of plywood under plastic sheeting. Well done Kiwis!!!

Very nice - great soundtrack, too!

I didn't think any were still flying since they are made of wood. Way cool to see. =D>

I too was at the Ardmore Airfield a few years back. The Mosquito was about 80% through its restoration(re-build).
They were restoring(re-building) a Spitfire also.
Amazing craftsmanship!
I took a ride in the DC-3 they have there which is on Air New Zealand Air Carrier Certificate.
Pretty cool.
I would encourage anyone going to New Zealand to visit the Ardmore Airfield.
A great little airport and wonderful people.
Now if we could get them to drive on the proper side of the road....

Awesome machine! I wonder what it's like in the cockpit with 6 stacks from a Merlin in each ear.
