I was wondering what you meant about $21K for skies on FB. Now I know. (I'm a little slow :oops: )

I can maybe understand the floats being that much. But the ski's?? Holy cow :shock:

Here is an old Cessna add from 1960. If you look closely, some of the images are simply reversed and put on the other side of the add or moved further to the rear of the add.

I bet your pretty glad to see #2 on the 170 ad...."It pays for itself....". Had I known, I would have gotten one sooner! :D

Looking back, that sure seems like a simpler more innocent time (probably 'cause it was).

Not all changes were for the better, either. I much prefer the rounded tail on the early Cessnas. It just looks right.

I'll have to see if I can find the picture, They had a 3 with wheel ski's on it at the show in Anchorage last year.
He hauls fuel with it most of the winter!!
