Hwy 93 itself might be an option for you too, depending on the poles/lines around Currie. Use the highway and park in the old parking lot of the bar and RV park.

There's some cool stuff around there.

One thing I've learned about roads, if it's too narrow to turn around on both ends, make sure there is enough room to land, stop, and takeoff

+1. I've looked at landing there in past years and the highway was the best option. Keep in mind Currie is a windy place; frequently 15 to 20 on the ground.

Thanks. Would be spending nights (or multiple nights) so a 6am departure is acceptable. There is also a wide BLM road to the west that I am considering. It was pretty damn wide and smooth -- I recall hauling 60+ mph down it in a pickup.
