Oratex approved by the FAA

Saw it at Oshkosh this week. Better Aircraft Fabric had a big sign displaying the STC with their approval. Congratulations to them, and another option for the certified plane builders/restorers out there.

ORATEX now approved in the US.
Yesterday, the FAA has sent us the first STC for the ORATEX approval in the United States. This is really good news for all Americans who want to have ORATEX on their certified aircraft.

Gestern hat die FAA das erste STC für die Zulassung von ORATEX in den USA geschickt. Das sind richtig gute Neuigkeiten für alle Amerikaner, die ihr zertifiziertes Flugzeug mit ORATEX bespannen möchten.

I think it is only for gliders at this time but the door is open so that is good
