Orientation, observation, mismatch.
Share tips, techniques, or anything else related to flying.

If my orientation is that I'm a pretty good stick, well prepared, and nothing is going to happen to me; I may experience a mismatch between observations and this orientation. Not so bad unless I come unglued.
In maneuvering flight the problem is we must change our orientation before we hit something or fall to earth. Since we have little potential energy from altitude, we would do well to have kinetic energy of pressure airspeed. Fast down here in low ground effect? Yes scary but helpful.

Energy good at low level. Seems like very good (darn near 'perfect') SA is also necessary (re: wire strike threads elsewhere on the forum).

Yes and one hundred percent outside the cockpit. Map recon and high recon (200') necessary but should not change belief /orientation : ol Charlie /wire /etc is out there.
