Hi Rob,
Your SPOT tracking is working great! Looks like you will be able to get out and stretch your legs and get those muscles relaxed.
Have fun!

OSH 08 defies words. All I can say is WOW! Do it if you can.

This pic was taken with a thunderstorm on the way. We watched the storm approach on the computer, it just missed us.

The Hilton is a short walk from the field. They have excellent food and the decorating theme is all airplanes. They even have a full size biplane hanging inside.

On the way home we flew over Yellowstone NP. This is one of those sulfer ponds I think, maybe not. It sure looks interesting.

Bob White had a friend he met at a flyin in the Black Rock desert near Gerlach, Nv. His name is Brian. He is a Navy test pilot. Brian flew to OSH with his father who was a 29 year US Marine fighter pilot. These guys were a fine example of the best America has. Brian and Jim and veterans like them are why we are free. Thank you Brian and Jim, it was an honor to spend time with you.

Jeremy of Maules.com and John were camped next to us and we had a great time hanging with them. John just got a new to him, Maule back east and they were headed back to Cali.

Later...Rob

Return from Osh

Rob, I just got back to Angwin (2o3) with Jeremy this afternoon in the new Maule (1999 mxt 7 180). We picked it up in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. I probably couldn,t have picked two points further apart in the lower 48! Had a great time on the flight, at Oshkosh, and meeting you and your friends. Look forward to seeing you again somewhere.

John, there was a pretty good turnout (60 people) at my presentation considering I was competing with the Raptor. Sorry you couldn't make it. I talked about you and mentioned this forum.

I set up camp and slept under my wing for seven days. My husband flew up later and joined me. Had a great time camping surrounded by people just as crazy in love with flying as I am. Made some new friends and spent time with old friends as well.

Can't wait till next year.
