Owyhee Reservoir or Garden Valley

My wife will be out of town next weekend so I will be footloose. Is there any interest in a potluck dinner at Owyhee Reservoir Friday May 3rd. It should be nice this time of year for camping.

Re: Owyhee Reservoir or Garden Valley

Flew over owyhee today, the strip is dry and looked to be in decent shape. Didnt land since it was late afternoon and the winds were pretty squirrelly.

If you make it to Garden Valley i may head up there friday early evening after work.

Just got off the phone with Annie Wade. There is fire wood. They ask for a donation now. Seems fair to me. I will be getting there around noon on Thursday

Re: Owyhee Reservoir or Garden Valley

Yep one of my daughters will be tagging along with me as well so we are going to bring some camping gear and will be spending friday night there.

Talked to my dad (retired and lives nearby) tonight and he may drive over for a bit to visit, he offered to bring lasagna so couldn’t refuse.

Airport Cafe in Caldwell is pretty good. Tower Grill in Nampa is really good. And Namp has Auto fuel right next to the grill. They tend to be in and out of business so you better call. The airport car is available at U88 so we could drive to town for a bite
