Paint Schemes
Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

My wife wanted me to paint my bird flourescent pink!!!!!! Since my old mechanic had already painted the fuselage black, I just continued the scheme. Came out ok and sure sloughs snow off real nice. (See avatar)

Robert "Bub" Wright, aka Skylane, passed away in November of 2011. He was a beloved community member and will be missed.
I've grown to like bright yellow paint jobs -- even though I've never owned one! Shows up good, both in the air and in the brush. Polished airplanes can flat ass disappear in the air-- now you see it, now you don't!
I know a guy who painted his airplane forest green-- bad choice for the pacific northwest. Same for a white airplane in snowy climes.
Schemes- it's pretty hard to go wrong if you go with a factory scheme, at least on a vintage airplane, with maybe a color change of you want something different.
