Partnership paperwork?
Owning an aircraft has many special considerations like financing, taxes, inspections, registration, and even partnerships. You can post questions on buying and selling procedure. Please post type-specific questions and topics in the
Types forum.
My Dad just emailed me and told me he bought half of a 150 with a friend of his. Does anyone have any copies of contracts and cost/hr calculations he can use to base his partnership on?
Thanks!

My father in law is in a partnership. No contract just some pointers. base price and first annual was split 50/50. After that all cost (Annual general maint ) was pro-rated to hours flown. except fixed cost (tiedown, taxes, insurance ect) fuel and oil paid for by whoever was flying. Upgrades 50/50 as long as both agree. There will always be a few questions and issues so partner with someone you trust. If you think you are getting screwed go pay for it ALL YOURSELF and see how it feels
