PBS TP100 Turboprop?

Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

PBS TP100 Turboprop?

Anyone know about this thing?

135lbs
241 HP t/o
214HP mct

If I’m doing the math right, 28GPH however.

Re: PBS TP100 Turboprop?

Yikes! That's awfully high fuel consumption for the rated horsepower . Especially when an O470 will do better at 1/2 the GPH. That said...the TP100 is light. :)

Re: PBS TP100 Turboprop?

I get 24GPH at cruise. But it seems like high consumption considering my 750HP PT6A-34 does 56GPH on takeoff and 46ish at cruise. I've always liked the idea of a small turbine like that for some of out small aircraft but the amount of fuel you'd need to carry to have the same range as the original piston engines makes it almost useless.
